Gammu is a free and open source phone controller app filed under mobile phone tools and made available by Michal Cihar for Windows.

Command-line mobile phone utility for accessing phone data:
Gammu is the name of the project as well as name of command line utility, which you can use to control your phone. It is written in C and built on top of libGammu.
Gammu command line utility provides access to wide range of phone features, however support level differs from phone to phone and you might want to check Gammu Phone Database for user experiences with various phones.
This project has originally forked from Gnokii and up to version 0.58 has been named MyGnokii2.Gammu features and highlights:
Gammu is licensed as Freeware for Windows (32-bit and 64-bit) operating system / platform from mobile phone tools without restrictions. Gammu 1.39.0 is available to all software users as a free download (Freeware).
Compatibility with this phone controller software may vary, but will generally run fine under Microsoft Windows 10, 8, 8.1, 7, Vista and XP on either a 32-bit or 64-bit setup. A separate x64 version may be available from Michal Cihar.
